What happened at Melba in April? (Reminder March 2024)
- 🎉 Big news ! Our app has been whitelisted by Meta end of April, and we are now managed by the Marketing Pro Team. We’re back on track in terms of profitability and have huge optimization levers.
- We closed our SPV II, we’re blessed to have amazing new people joining us! We hope to be able to gather everyone soon.
- Our Web2Web funnel is now live - users can now subscribe directly from Stripe, which unlocks new acquisition levers for us
- Melba was ranked #20 on Health & Fitness

April 2024 Metrics:
- €30k in revenue (+6% MoM)
- 16,643 new couples registered on the app, and 431 new premium users, resulting in a conversion rate of 2.59%.
- €93 customer acquisition cost for premium users, leading to a 73% return on ad spend within 7 days. ******Note that since we relaunched Meta, our CAC is already down to 69€ (100% ROAS trend).
Highlights of the month:
- [Acquisition] After heavy lobbying and networking, we are now “managed” by a member of the Meta Marketing Pro Team, who helped us to “whitelist” our app : > it means our product is not considered as prohibited adult content anymore and we can leverage all Meta potential with no risk for ban : app downloads campaigns / web to app campaigns.
- [Acquisition] Web funnel is live, and has been tested with a lot of iterations, but it’s harder than expected with high engagement on questionnaire and wallet but low conversion
- [Operations] Customer support is now partly managed by a part-time resource, feels great to get help on this part!
- [Communication] We now work with the Head of Influence Marketing at Womanizer to manage our influence campaigns > Our first Instagram test with 10 influencers will be launched end of May
